Our Institute prepares short technical assessments titled “Earthquake Information Note” following significant earthquakes occurring in our country, with the aim of providing the public with timely and scientifically based information.
These notes include the seismological characteristics of the earthquake, response spectra, intensity distributions, and comparisons between the recorded data and design spectra. Prepared immediately after each event, these one-page evaluations are completed in a short time using reliable institutional data and shared with the public.
Earthquake Information Notes are published through the Institute’s official Twitter and LinkedIn accounts.
