Commemorating the 3rd Anniversary Year of the February 6, 2023 Kahramanmaraş Earthquakes: Experience in Earth Sciences and Earthquake Engineering – “Observations and Applications”
On the third anniversary year of the 6th February 2023, Kahramanmaraş-Pazarcık and Elbistan-Ekinözü earthquake sequence,
ITU Disaster Management Institute
is organizing an international comprehensive workshop. This event aims to convene distinguished national and international scientists operating in the fields of earth sciences, earthquake engineering and disaster management to exchange unique field experiences and theoretical research findings. The workshop will serve as an academic platform for evaluating the scientific data and engineering advancements gathered over the past three years. The guiding principle is that understanding the fundamentals and applied methodology of overlapping fields will be key to paving the way for the next generation.
