We are currently seeking one PhD and one Masters student to be supported with a research assistanship funded by the TÜBİTAK 1001 project titled "Development of a New Generation Intelligent Constitutive Model for the Dynamic Behavior of Liquefiable Soils under the Earthquake Excitations".  Interested applicants should send their detailed CVs, undergraduate, MS and PhD (if any) transcripts in a single pdf file to Dr. Can Ülker (mbulker@itu.edu.tr).  Applications should also include a concise 'Cover Letter' in the email.

 

Important Note: Applicants must be graduated from a Civil Engineering undergraduate program (for both MS and PhD scholarships).

The PhD applicants are required to have a Masters degree (for doctoral scholarship) from one of these programs or relevant others; Geotechnical, Structural or Earthquake Engineering. It is expected that the applicants are either already or will soon be enrolled in ITU MS or PhD program (Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering or Earthquake Engineering) by Spring 2023 at the latest.

The research project topic will be the students' thesis topics also.
