Malaysian Rubber Council MRC has organized a seminar in collaboration with Istanbul Technical University and Turkish Association for Seismic Isolation (TASI) on November 29^th, 2022, focusing on the theme of “Risk Mitigation Against Earthquakes Through High Damping Technology”. This seminar has been chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatih Sutcu, and provided an excellent opportunity for civil and structural engineers, engineering consultants, professors and students from universities of engineering, construction firms, relevant organizations, and regulatory authorities to know more about reducing structural damage with seismic isolation in Turkey, the use of High-Damping Natural Rubber Bearings (HDNRB) as well as other engineering rubber products for various applications such as construction, marine, railway and mining.
